Print Size Template

This is what you would have copied or saved off of Blue Boot Media's web-site. If you have problems understanding the process just use our contact form and send us a number we can call you at and make note of the best time to call with time zone. Thank You.

Resolution adjusted to 300 DPI

Resolution changed to 300DPI and with most programs it will resize to original print but will make the image smaller so be sure you have made a note of original size.

Ready to Go.

In the example above the sizing is changed to the desired resolution and then the width and height is also input to adjust to the correct quality of print. You will have a template that will be at least a 4 to 1 ration over the template that you started with.

Once you have opened the adjust print all you have to do is prepare your project and use the template as a background to work off of. Remember that the area of bleed is necessary to make sure that the final print will cut in a way that will leave clean edging. The bleed area is the same color as the rest of the art work edge and is not extra space. Your art must fit inside the inner lines and the bleed area is to make room for final adjustment for our printer and the cutting of the Jewel Case inserts. You will be working with a size that may seem a little awkward but if you just adjust your view to fit in your screen it will be fine. Remember also that if you add text be sure it is something that is ledge able and prints well. If you can print what you create out on your printer and read it then we can print here. The main reason we print on Kodak Gloss is that you will have clear text and excellent image reproduction. Paper prints are good from graphics and text but for photo quality imaging you have to use photo quality paper.
